Mattress Cleaning

Many mattress manufactures require no evidence of spills or spotting to honor a warranty. While type and quality of the fabric used for mattress ticking (fabric covering a mattress is called ticking) will vary by manufacturer, generally speaking mattress cleaning does not always remove the appearance of spots.  This is because the ticking by nature can be very easily stained.  A stain is a spot that cannot be removed. 

Our mattress cleaning process will remove surface soil and sanitize the surface of your mattress.  However, areas of prior spotting may still be visiable after cleaning. 

• Pre-inspection: Visual inspection of all materials prior to cleaning.  Not all mattresses can or should be cleaned. We will not clean a mattress that should be replaced.
• Pre-vacuum:  Complete surface vacuuming with a CRI-approved HEPA vacuum. HEPA filtration is very important to fully contain the fine particles that vacuuming will capture from the mattress fabric.  The fabric used is also called "ticking".
• Pre-treatment:  Application to the mattress ticking of our safe yet effective cleaning pre-spray to gently loosen any residual soil not removed by vacuuming.
• Steam cleaning:  Careful application of low moisture steam cleaning via truck mount will sanitize and deep clean away embedded allergens without over-wetting mattress ticking.    
• Post-treatment:  Application of our post-cleaning treatment to return mattress surface to a neutral ph condition.
• Speed dry mattress.
